I am only on episode 3. I am sure this has been thought of, but where was Danny Heinrich in 2002. Danny Newville also went missing just months earlier about 50 miles away. All these disappearances in the same area....

Maybe the police know where Danny Heinrich was that day to rule him out. All I can find is that it looks like he lived in Paynesville when Jacob Wetterling was abducted and Annandale when arrested in 2015. Either town is only 30 minutes away from Collegeville. Quite a few 20 year old young men disappear in that small rural area before Danny Heinrich is arrested in 2015. It's doubtful Danny Heinrich went on to live a stellar life after abducting 8 different boys from the Paynesville area. What was he doing between when Jacob was kidnapped and 2015 when he was arrested?
