There was a post that's been deleted regarding "Behind The Pine Curtain". Anyway, as someone who lived my entire life, and raised a family, in Central MN (30 min drive to Maple Lake, 60 min drive to SJU), and who's youngest child attended/graduated from SJU I have to admit this is where my mind went immediately upon hearing about Josh's disappearance back in 2002. To this day I wonder why this hasn't been more of a focus?

* I personally am quite fond of SJU. I spent a lot of time on campus the four years my son was there. Neither he nor I ever felt unsafe. The campus is beautiful as were the people. Our experience was nothing but positive. I do admit to an occasional snarky comment about certain monks still residing in the monastery at the time.
