I work in corporate communications and was horrified when I heard that Josh G. was used in classes as an example of a successful crisis communications campaign. Talk about adding insult to injury!
That's so wrong on so many levels. I've worked in communications for two of the largest companies in the country – organizations with a cut-throat, win-at-all-costs culture – and even they wouldn't dream of acting in this manner.
In terms of best way to demand better of SJU, I am hesitant to give any specific recommendation - as I think it should be specific to each persons's circumstances and relationship to the school/church.
