On this day, 21 years ago Joshua Guimond disappeared. This afternoon on the Stearns County Sheriff’s official Facebook they posted a statement. Last anniversary, they posted the photos of men off of Josh's computer to appeal for their identities. This anniversary they did not publish the photos again.
Season 1: Joshua Guimond
@Josh Newville, I wonder if you could update us with a quick drop about the new episodes that were promised. I understand you must be so busy and there may be difficulty in even finding more content to create a couple of new episodes about Josh’s case. But I worry that you may have abandoned the project altogether when we haven’t heard from you in awhile and I certainly hope it’s still a go. It’s wonderful, what you’ve done, and I’m sure all of the family and friends (including those of Guimond’s) you’ve met along the way are so appreciative. I know I am and I’m just a faraway interested person
Ps Joshua Newville won't abandon finding the truth about Joshua's disappearance, this is his passion to find what happened to him.
Josh’s case has stuck with me. I was in college at the same time at a small catholic college, things about him remind me of my college boyfriend, etc. I read a news story about how a billboard put up In Phoenix helped solve a cold case - I wonder if a highway billboard near the school with a huge picture of Josh would bring anyone forward with information or out of guilt. Billboards aren’t as expensive as you’d think. A go fund me maybe?
I believe all of that has been done at one time or another. I remember donating to a Go Fund Me campaign, and I think I remember seeing at least one billboard as well.

Currently there are not any public updates regarding this investigation as this remains an active investigation,” Lt. Zach Sorenson at the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office told Oxygen.com in a statement.
Officials said they planned on issuing a statement around the 21st anniversary of Guimond’s disappearance. However, they cautioned, any new major breaks in the case likely wouldn’t be forthcoming.
“We do plan to put out a statement in the near future but that statement will be similar to years past,” Sorenson added.
Stearns County Sheriff’s Dept. is a joke! Maybe they will release more pictures of men they already know the names of. But of course they will shed tears when interviewed.
Yes, I believe the photos were released on Oct. 18th, a few weeks before the anniversary last year. And a few days prior to the Netflix episode of Unsolved Mysteries. I just can't believe they waited so many years to release them and I can't believe that they didn't get any breaks in the case. This podcast and website has been silent and the Stearns Co. Sheriff's Dept. has been equally silent, even though they said they were going to release another age-enhanced photo over a year ago. Another year of frustration for all of us that care and another year of heartbreak for Josh's family and friends. Let's hope someone out there is still looking into this case and we have some answers soon.
