I meant to post this a few weeks back, but finally remembered to do so...
Perhaps I'm misremembering, but I believe there is a discrepancy between reporting on the SV podcast and what was said on the Unsolved Mysteries episode about the last people who allegedly saw Josh the night he disappeared. If I'm remembering correctly, Josh saw someone he knew on campus after he left the poker game? Or was this earlier in the day/evening? Based on what the Unsolved Mysteries episode said, the couple saw someone matching Josh's description (clothing) and not that either of the two knew him or positively/definitively identified Josh. Anyone else have thoughts or insight here?
After 20 years that the case was dismissed and did not interview enough students and staff and his dad was denied access to where the dog followed Josh's scent is not much to say about those 2 ....people's memory fades with time unless you truly care or is happening to you ...
